At Coleraine Magistrates’ Court, Pastor Clive Johnston pleaded not guilty to two charges under the Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) Act.

Clive had held an open-air Sunday service on the fringes of a buffer zone opposite the Causeway Hospital, Coleraine on 7 July 2024 last year. He was preaching on John 3:16 and did not mention abortion, but is accused of seeking to ‘influence’ people accessing abortion services.
