‘When is the General Election?’, ‘Who will win?’, and ‘Who should I vote for?’. These are some of the most searched for election questions on Google ahead of the 2015 General Election according to the Telegraph online.
As a registered charity The Christian Institute cannot tell you how to vote but it is able to help in other ways. Its dedicated election page at https://www.christian.org.uk/election provides key resources to help inform your vote.
These include our extremely popular Election Briefing 2015, a record of MPs’ voting history and a Questions for Candidates card.
Biblical priorities
The election on Thursday 7 May is widely expected to be the most unpredictable in a generation, making accurate predictions on the result almost impossible.
Despite the extensive election coverage in the media, the popularity of the search request ‘Who should I vote for?’ clearly shows that many people are finding it a difficult question to answer for themselves.
But to help you make your decision using biblical priorities we have produced Election Briefing 2015.
Questions Worth Asking
This handy 54-page guide sets out where the main parties stand on a range of moral issues concerning life, family and religious liberty.
