Pro-abortionists have vandalised a pro-life pregnancy centre in the US state of Ohio with the words “fund abortion” and “abort God”.
The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center (BGPC), which provides services including ultrasounds and parenting classes, was also sprayed with the name of activist group Jane’s Revenge, which previously threatened “to take increasingly drastic measures” against those who seek to protect the unborn.
The incident marks the 63rd attack on pro-life pregnancy centres since a US Supreme Court opinion on abortion was leaked last May, ahead of Roe v Wade being overturned on 24 June.
Intimidation
BGPC’s Executive Director Rochelle Sikora stated: “This vile attack is part of a nationwide movement to intimidate, threaten, and terrorise pregnancy centres” based on “misconceptions, misinformation, and outright lies”.
our love for women in the community will not wane in the face of these threats
But she said the centre’s “love for women in the community will not wane in the face of these threats”, and in fact its “resolve to serve is only strengthened”.
Peter Range, Chief Executive Officer of Ohio Right to Life, urged officials across the country to “rise to the moment and speak out against these attacks to put an end to these senseless attacks once and for all”.
Arson
Last year, Christian pregnancy centre Life Choices, Colorado, was set on fire and painted with the words: “If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.”
In Vermont, the State Capitol had a pro-abortion message painted on its door, with building damages amounting to $25,000.
And in Arizona, police used tear gas on pro-abortion protesters surrounding the state’s Capitol building. According to the politicians inside, they were not able to reach a safe location until a SWAT team started dispersing the crowd.
Arizona was one of eight states to immediately stop performing abortions when the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade.
