On Easter Sunday last year, Jonathan Pryke of Jesmond Parish Church (JPC) questioned if we sometimes find ourselves in a similar mire. Do we truly understand that the resurrection is the pivotal point of the whole of history? Or like Mary Magdalene, do we feel abandoned by Jesus to hopelessness and depression?
