LGBT activist charity Educate & Celebrate has removed one of its patrons after Ofcom received more than 1,400 complaints about him exposing himself on live television.
The group goes into schools to promote radical transgender ideology to pupils and teachers.
During Channel 4’s Friday Night Live programme, Jordan Gray – a man who claims to be a woman – concluded a profanity-filled pro-trans song by saying: “You know the best thing about live TV? I can do stupid stuff like this!”, before exposing himself and performing lewd moves.
Young children
Educate & Celebrate removed Gray as a patron following the backlash, claiming it was not aware of his television appearance until it was informed via social media.
In an interview in 2016, Gray reported that he had visited schools as part of the group. He claimed toddlers “kind of get” radical gender ideology “straight away”, and that “it’s good to educate these kids when they are young”.
The group denied this, claiming: “As far as the charity are aware, Jordan Gray has never gone into schools as a Patron on our behalf and the charity have never requested Jordan carry out workshops for or on behalf of Educate & Celebrate, either in a voluntary or paid capacity.”
Mermaids
Earlier this month, another controversial pro-trans group, Mermaids, came under fire for employing a man who had posed for highly sexualised photographs and posted them online.
Darren Mew, who had worked as a Digital Engagement Officer for the group, posted an ‘upskirt’ picture of himself on Instagram with the caption: “Sorry I can’t hear you. I’m just out here living my fantasy” alongside the hashtag #nonbinaryfinery.
He also posed for explicit photographs featuring full-frontal and rear nudity for LGBT publication Haus Magazine as part of a ‘sex collage’.
