Schoolgirls as young as eight were taken on a field trip and left alone in bedrooms with access to TV porn, while teachers were allegedly out drinking.
More than 30 children have been removed from Nottingham’s Burton Joyce Primary School following a series of serious complaints about the school.
One parent said: “There were three girls in the room. They had access to a TV and there was no supervision.
Rape
“There’s a statement somewhere saying that the staff were all drinking at the time.
“And the girls watched Babestation, free porn films and they also watched a harrowing documentary about rape.”
And a mother, who did not wish to be named, said: “If the teachers fail to control what the pupils are viewing while in their care then they are not doing their job properly.
Daughter
“My concern is that this could be just the tip of the iceberg, which is why I have taken my daughter out of the school.”
At least four of the school’s governors have resigned as a result of the porn allegations, which are said to have happened during a field trip to Skegness in the spring.
Former teacher Eric Ashworth, a governor at the school, said: “I do not believe that child protection measures at the school have been rigorous enough.”
Nottinghamshire County Council has launched an investigation into concerns raised by members of the local community.
