Call 999 if parent smacks child, says Scot Govt
A parent or carer seen chastising their child with a smack should have the police called on them, according to new Scottish Government guidelines.

BMA docs support assisted suicide – but not being involved
Of the nearly 29,000 respondents, 40 per cent said the BMA should support assisted suicide, while 33 per cent thought it should be opposed. However, only 36 per cent said that they would be willing to prescribe the drugs themselves.
