Sex education resources should be vetted to ensure that children as young as five are protected from “extraordinarily inappropriate” content, a Conservative MP has warned.

Sex ed inspections could be forced on primary schools
Primary schools should be inspected by Ofsted on their provision of sex education, even though the subject is not required by the National Curriculum, according to an amendment tabled in the House of Lords.
