The Christian Institute is a registered charity, committed to promoting biblical Christianity in the public arena. We are seeking suitable candidates to join our hard-working and expanding team.

Candidates for any post will be Evangelical Christians who are highly motivated to apply biblical principles to the family, the world of work and public policy.

1. HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS: Full-time

To work at our headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We require a dedicated individual, skilled in written and verbal communication, to engage with secular and Christian media outlets. You will bring strong news judgement and theological discernment to this senior role. You will be responsible for leading our creative communications team to deliver multi-platform output that promotes biblical truth. Experience of working with the media is desirable.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday, 3 December 2024. Interviews will take place in mid-January 2025.

 

2. EDUCATION OFFICER: Full-time

To work at our headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The Christian Institute’s education team helps Christian parents, teachers and school governors with advice on dealing with issues including equality legislation, sex education and Religious Education across the UK and Republic of Ireland. An ability to apply Christian discernment, discretion and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Experience of working in schools or as a school governor would be an advantage.

3. ADMIN ASSISTANT: Full or part-time

To work at our headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne.
One of our long-serving Administration team members is moving abroad, leaving a vacancy in our busy main office. Our Admin staff are multitaskers who can apply their Christian faith to questions raised by members of the public over the phone and in writing. We are looking for organised computer-literate candidates who can communicate effectively. Experience in data entry will be an advantage.
