Taxpayer-funded quango the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland has taken Ashers Baking Co. to court for refusing to promote gay marriage. It claims Ashers broke sexual orientation discrimination laws, but the case actually centres on their right not to promote a cause with which they fundamentally disagree.
