YouTube and Twitch star Ninja shares how doctors wanted him aborted

A YouTube star and professional gamer recently reflected on how doctors advised his mother to abort him.

Richard Blevins, also known as ‘Ninja’ online, has over 22 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, and more than 14.5 million followers on gaming platform Twitch.

While he usually streams footage of himself playing popular online game Fortnite, he has now used his platform to tell his fans about how he might never have been born.

No to abortion

Blevins said: “For those of you guys who don’t know. I was not supposed to be born.

“A lot of the doctors told my mom that I had spina bifida or Down syndrome or a number of diseases, and that I should be aborted.”

“A lot of the doctors told my mom that I had spina bifida or Down syndrome or a number of diseases, and that I should be aborted.”

“But anyway, she said ‘no’ to all the doctors until she found one that said ‘OK we’re going to have this baby’, and fast-forward nine months after that, I was born perfect, nothing wrong with me.”

He continued: “It’s one of those things where – imagine if she’d listened to one of those doctors. Or even one of those people. You know, I wouldn’t be here.”

Blown away

He was praised for opening up by Jason Jones, who runs the pro-life YouTube channel MovietoMovement.

He was alerted to the video by his 12-year-old son, an avid Ninja fan.

“I was blown away by what he said”, said Jones.

Millions of fans

“Ninja, America’s top Twitch live-streamer, asked millions of Americans – mostly young Americans, young boys like my son – to imagine.

“Imagine if she listened to the abortion industry. Imagine if she had let them take his life.”

He concluded: “Thank you, Ninja. I’m so glad you were born.”
